This leash has a headcollar on one end and a leash handle on the other. When your dog pulls, both loops on the head collar tighten, lightly restricting the whole head so the dog backs off from the restriction, creating a gentle walking experience. The loop sizes can be adjusted by moving the slide adjuster in either direction. This changes the length of the leash portion.
